A concert exploring the extraordinary repertoire of 20th century French songs for choir, a capella and accompanied by piano. The program features beautiful French poetry on themes of love, loss and hope, set to music by leading composers including Lili Boulanger, Debussy, Faur\u00e9, Poulenc and Ravel. The concert also includes the world premiere of
\n“Ouvre tes ailes” by Canadian composer Marie-Claire Saindon. This new piece, commissioned by the Cantata Singers of Ottawa, sets a selection of texts by Quebec poets to create a work to celebrate our return to a more normal life.<\/p>\n
