The 33rd season featured a repeat performance of Rachmaninoff's All-Night Vigil in the Church of St. Viateur in Montreal, Baroque concerts with the National Arts Centre Orchestra including Hændel's Messiah and Bach's St. Matthew Passion, a family Christmas concert at the National Gallery of Canada, a Viennese concert to mark the bicentennial of the birth of Schubert and the centennial of the death of Brahms with special guest artist Andrew Tunis and finally, as part of the international choral festival "Canada Sings with the World", a performance of Berlioz' L'enfance du Christ with the NACO conducted by Mario Bernardi and Music for Double Choir and Brass with the Rideau Lakes Brass Quintet, featuring works by Pärt, Górecki, Biebl, Bach, Schütz, Gabrieli, and a newly-commissioned piece for choir and brass by Canadian composer David McIntyre.
